History

Established in 2016

I’ve been doing my own horses blankets for over 30 years, and am happy to have the opportunity to offer the same care and attention to detail to my customers.

Meet the Owner

Helene P.

Business owner and manager Helene is happy to make her home in Dixon with good friends, and their horses close by. An ardent horse addict since day one, Helene's passion was gravely misunderstood by her parents, leaving her to her own devices to purchase her first horse at the age of 24. She's been making up for lost time every day since then.  In the meantime, she worked as a professional costumer and sculptor for Universal Studios, NBC, and the San Francisco Opera where she was graced with working with designers Gianni Versace and Bob Mackie. A temporary change of careers netted 20 years of experience in law enforcement. Looking to get back to her true love of getting her hands dirty, Helene launched Blanket Butler on May 22nd, 2016, in memoriam of the birthday of her beloved horse "Dublin".
